Charlotte Mills is a young girl who is best friends with Emily, Brooke, and Maria. The four of them find themselves in a world populated by anthropomorphic multicolored cubes. Charlotte and her friends must devise strategies to protect themselves from Regina, the story's main antagonist, who plans to control the multilink cubes and use them for her own means. Charlotte and her friends must also navigate the complicated social dynamics of the multilink cube world and find ways to connect with the other humans. Along the way, Charlotte and her friends must figure out how to free themselves and the multilink cubes from Regina's clutches.
